To enhance security and reduce the risk of fraud, the Missouri Department of Revenue began issuing new-style driver licenses, non-driver identification cards and temporary licenses in December 2012. Because Missourians are now presenting these documents for identification or as proof of age, retailers and others should familiarize themselves and employees with the appearance and features of these documents.
